Oct 28, 2011 · I have a Fridgedaire stacked washer and dryer and need to clean lint from behind the holed screen that covers the drum on the inside of the dryer. I do not see a way to access behind that cover. If I remove the three screws that hold the holed plate on it seems that the drum behind it would fall down. How do we clean that out---we just purchased this second hand and want to make sure it is clean and in good running order. It is the kenmore 970-17802-40. .
